On the eve that the moon is covered she invites you to draw down her veiled wisdom, retreat with our lady into the void. Grasp caru, and breathe out into the air, breathe the veiled moon in, and caru out, in, and out, until all is calm and black.
Paint the house of caru black until there is no sign of her ever living here. Cut the barbed binds of Caru, set her wondering into the ether to taunt some other restless soul. And sink beneath your surface until all is quiet and black … this is the house of the dark moon now.
The dark moon is for anti-workings, to unravel the twisted, to strip back to the bones of your being, and lay bare. To be silent and to be skinless. Descend into the dark womb of your soul.
This is a time for retreat within, to the nothing that all is built upon, to journey deep inside where the true God lies and make peace with her tonight. The moon reflects your nature, you reflect the beauty and peace of nature. Nature reflects back to you.
The dark moon is a fantastic night to clear away unwanted energies, and to get in touch with our deepest selves. The moon is the expression of our subconscious, there is no difference between her and us if this is what we wish .. as above and so below. As we gaze upwards and see nothing, we may retreat and become nothing, release caru and become weightless.
To use water on this night, to lay wrapped in the deep dark warmth, or to gaze into the water filled bowl, as tranquil as the mirror, and enter the silence with her, from whome all new beginnings are born
In this new year we start from nothing, and there is no better place to begin, with the dark moon energy of her, or indeed with him. Reflection and recovery, retreat within to clean the hearth where the fires of creation shall soon burn bright. Dark moon tonight and twice again, three times or two is ample time to review, renew, and begin anew.
